Music Theory

It is taught, today, in the finest conservatories, that the fundamental 
elements of music are melody, harmony, and rhythm.

Yet, when we examine the simplest tune, say, Mary Had A Little Lamb, 
we can easily distinguish changes in pitch, dynamics, speed, duration, 
articulation, rhythm, and more.*
